Professional clothing has been dominated by polyester and cotton fibers. However, now the natural cellulose fiber is being used in this product segment. Hygiene – the natural way
Perspiration is an unpleasant side-effect while working. TENCEL® reduces bad odors and does not provide an environment conducive to the growth of bacteria. The vast moisture absorption diminishes the formation of bacteria from the beginning. The moisture is directly transported away from the skin and absorbed inside the fiber. There is no film of moisture, which can be the basis for bacteria growth. Compared to synthetic fibers, the growth of bacteria on TENCEL® is reduced without chemical additives.

Botanic fiber for the environment
TENCEL® is 100 % natural. The fiber is extracted from eucalyptus wood originating entirely from sustainable forest plantations. In eco terms, eucalyptus is an interesting raw material since it grows rapidly and does not need artificial irrigation or gene manipulation. TENCEL® is produced in an eco-friendly closed loop production process consuming only 1 % of the water quantities required to cultivate conventional cotton.

Compared with other materials, TENCEL® feels considerably cooler when the temperatures rise.
